The first is probably a Sedum, perhaps Sedum spathifolium.

The second is likely an Echeverria, but I'm not an expert.

yes, Sedum, and possibly Graptoveria (an echeveria - graptopetalum hybrid) 'Fred Ives', or an Echeveria.

You want them growing in a very gritty mix so the roots don't rot.
