identify perrenial

I have no clue what this plant is, perennial with a spire of purple flowers, starts blooming in june thru most of july, it's going to seed right now. its approx 30 inches tall, very upright habit. thanks!

Stachys officinalis possibly Hummelo.

That plant tag wouldn't by chance go with the plant, would it? ;-)

OMG thats it! Ive been racking my brain all summer, thank you so much!! hehehe the plant tag says "unk purple spire" now i can change it, thanks again! Pat
