Hot tub to pond conversion

eawoodhouseMay 23, 2009

I have an old hot tub that nobody uses and I'd like to convert it to a pond/water garden. I'm more interested in plants than in fish. Has anyone done this, or does anyone know where I might find information on how to go about it?

Many thanks!

Would think it could be done though the equipment for a hot tub would be useless for a water Do you plan to keep it above ground, bury it . Winter protection??
How would it handle freezing?? Would think a far better fish pond than water garden due to the depth and materials but anything tha holds water is heading in the right direction lol gary
