Help! No idea what this is!

DrZoidberg1968July 15, 2012

Greetings! I purchased a packet of wildflower seeds, and this plant has bloomed from the ones I planted. It is very tall (at least 2-3 feet) and the stalk is close to 1/2 inch round at the base. It hasn't bloomed. It has palmate leaves with rippled edges. Any help would be great.

Looks a lot like burdock, Arctium lappa. Wouldn't have been one of the seed packet seeds, but common enough weed to show up anyway.

mmm - I don't know what this is but I'm afraid it doesn't look remotely like Burdock to me and the description of palmate leaves doesn't fit either. Perhaps we can wait to see what the flowers look like.
