What plant is that?

MEveJuly 24, 2014

Hi, I've just moved in a new house and there is a lot of perennials that I know nothing about.

This one bloomed in early June and I've collected dried seeds today. Looking for the plant's name for more info!

Thanks :)

It's a type of columbine (Aquilegia), though I don't know which one.

It could be Nora Barlow or it could be a nameless seedling. Aquilegia vulgaris is notoriously promiscuous and throws up all sorts of combinations of doubles and colours.
