Hi all
Could someone tell me what this plant is? Not sure if it's a shrub or tree.
Thanks

Sumac, Rhus spp. Maybe someone else can narrow it down to species.

Looks to be a Staghorn Sumac.

"....not a garden friendly plant...." All you need is a lawnmower and it is absolutely fine. One shrub which supplies reliable Autumn colour even in our climate.

We have them along the roadside here in western TN, too. I have been wondering what it is, and have considered seed-napping some from the plants down the road...just kidding. I am going to ask the owner's permission. They look very beautiful!

It's a sumac species. They love roadsides for some reason. Very pretty!
