These shrubs are planted all over Toronto, They keep their shape well with pruning. What are they?
(pic take autumn)
Fairly invasive in many parts of the US. Probably borderline in Toronto. You should be able to find much better options available for landscaping.
otherwise known as a burning bush ...
birds have planted them all over my 5 acres... those who claim they do not have invasive potential are in denial ... just because you dont see them.. doenst mean the birds are not moving them about ...
Plant Viburnum carlesii instead. The species is similar size, shape, good fall color and it blooms! And there is more...its yields berries if you have a pollinator.
