Our Pond Video

joraines(7 Upstate SC)July 28, 2013

I believe it has been the rainiest, wettest summer of my 50 years on this earth here in Upstate SC and my waterlilies nad other heat and sun-loving plants have not done well this year and the muddy water has kept me from even seeing my goldfish most of the time. However, I have made a little You Tube video of its evolution of our pond thus far if anyone has time to look. (Hope this link works)

Beautiful pond. I hear ya about all the rain. Never seen anything like it here in middle GA. Now I need a still pic of your entire pond in all it's glory. How I wish my puddle was large enough to travel on in a canoe! Thanks for sharing.

Congratulations; awesome video! (My phone app couldn't determine the music you used; it's nice.) I want to have a setup like this someday for my family & pets to enjoy. =)

Thank you both for taking the time to look! I appreciate it. I'll try to get a full pic of it soon. As you know, as with any gardening venture, it's ever evolving and things are blooming and then waning for the year.

How nice of you to post such a nice video of your pond.
It is absolutely beautiful.
I know about the rain tho, I can't believe this. I'm not complaining though, my water bill is finally nice and low this summer so far. It's usually high from watering the lawn and plants.
You don't have a liner in your pond, it must be clay.
Well it is truly beautiful, nice job you did there.

We do have liners; they are used vinyl billboards we get from a local company. They give them to farmers free of charge as long as you put the advertisement down. For such a large pond, we could not afford the complete, one-piece liner! Everything we do is DIY and on a shoestring. Thank you for taking a peek and your kind complements!
