How to clean underwater lights?

basilbird(z6 RI)August 20, 2014

I finally installed some underwater LED lights and I really like the look. The problem is they get covered in algae that dims the light output. I can jump in and wipe them down every weekend and that seems to be working but is there something I can clean the lens with that will at least deter algae growth?

Thanks in advance
