Mystery Plant with a bud

I got this as a cutting a couple years ago at a plant swap without a name. I was just checking it and found out it has a bud! The leaves are velvety, no spines and it's succulent.

Oooh, it's a Stapelia. I had one years ago. You're gonna be surprised when it flowers!

Ooook!! Thanks, any idea as to which one? I have the monkey tail and it blooms like crazy and is so easy to care for! I prolly would have recognized the bloom as a stapelia once it bloomed, lol... :)

I'll take another pic when it blooms, maybe that will help narrow it down.

At least it's outside. I have a couple dozen varieties in the greenhouse. When S. gigantea's in bloom I can't even walk in there. lol
