How to grow brugnansia from seed?

valeriepa(z5-6 NEPA)November 6, 2013

I soaked the seeds for 24 hours in water?
Do I remove the outer cork-like covering?
Do they require light to germinate or how deep do I sow them?
I really want a brugmansia and socalgardengal was so nice to trade with me for them. Don't want mess them up.
Any advice would be appreciated.

They take a long time to sprout. Just keep them moist and wait. Sow about 1/4 - 1/2" deep. A heat mat helps speed them up a bit.
