Cross post from Lilies. I know many perennial gardeners have at least a few lilies!

Lily Society talk in Rockford IL Sat Feb 9.

For the enjoyment of Northern Illinois gardeners and lily lovers: The Wisconsin Illinois Lily Society will present an educational talk at Klehm Arboretum in Rockford.

Society president Woody Imberman will present the Society's public slide/show lecture, "How To Grow Great Lilies in the Rockford Area", from 9.30 to 11.00 AM on Saturday, February 9 at Klehm Arboretum, 2715 S. Main Street, Rockford. Admission is free to Klehm Aboretum members but $15.00 for non-members. Please phone Klehm at 815/965-8146 for advance registration, which is recommended. All Lily Society presentations are open to the public.

If you are a member of the American Horticultural Society, or a member of one of the AHS member Reciprocal Gardens (such as the Chicago Botanic Garden, the Morton Arboretum, etc.), your admission to Klehm should be free. Just present your card at the entrance. The list of Reciprocal Garden members is on their website. (The number of persons who can enter on one card via reciprocal admissions may vary, though: call the garden to verify.)
