Please ID this vine. It has an unusual bloom, but I don't have a picture.
Could it be Schizophragma hydrangeoides?
Here is a link that might be useful: Schizophragma hydrangeoides
I don't think that is it. These leaves are not serrated and are a perfect heart shape. I forgot to say they grow from a tuber/bulb. More on the side of tuber. It has been a while since I planted. The bloom looked more like a Dutchman's
Pipe, but not fancy. I know what they look.
Have a look at Aristolochia clematitis, Birthwort. poisonous!!!!
I think we are in the right area, but will have to wait until it blooms again. There were Dutchman's Pipe in the same area where I got this, but the bloom wasn't as dark as they are. I almost think it was light pink, but not sure. I have it in full shade and think maybe I need to move it so it can get more sun. I will wait until it goes dormant to move it then. Thanks
