This shruby looking plant has grown fast next to the downspout. What is it? Thanks

Chinese privet. Invasive, not native, get rid of it.

In this area, bboy, we just have chinese and the waxleaf. And the chinese is everywhere. The OP is not far from me. Believe me, that's what it is.

From many miles away, its a privet and regardless of the specific epithet, any woody that close to the house needs to go, and obviously a bird dropped it, so let it go.

I once had a professor that said it was his mission in life to eradicate this earth of Chinese Privet...guess he didn't succeed. To bad though, I hate that plant.
