Shrub Identification Help

mcn1197September 18, 2010

Hi, I just purchased a home with some landscaping, and I am currently in the process of trying to identify some of the shrubs and flowers that I've inherited. :) There is one shrub in particular that I'm having trouble identifying, as there are a lot of shrubs that look very similar. Below is a link to pictures of this shrub. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Yes, it does. Probably Euonymus kiautschovicus, maybe 'Manhattan.'

They're very hardy, have nice glossy foliage, but they don't have showy flowers, so are not usually grown as a "specimen" but more likely as a hedge or screening plant.

They're fast growing and easy to propagate from cuttings, and they can take lots of shade. I use them as a screen between & below a line of blue spruce.
