When I took off the cover over the chain bar + Cluch the cluch was bone dry, It this the way it should be, or should I oil or grease it. Please advise

A chainsaw clutch is supposed to be that way. No oil needed.

I agree only the needle bearing between the crank shaft and the clutch assy. may need alittle grease if the clutch starts to bin. Ususally that means (providing the chain is not braking it) needle bearings could about shot. as far as the centrifical portion ( the two halfs with the spring around no oil on that or it may cause slipping when it engages with the outer disk when you rev it up which drives the chain.
