Another tree with dark berries

jekeesl (south-central Arkansas)(7b)November 15, 2010

This tree was about 15 feet tall, with leaves around 1.5-in by 3.0-in. It had widely-spaced berries that were round, approximately 3/8" across, and seemed to have a dark plum color. Can you name it?
