Blue Shadow Witch Alder & Oakleaf Hydrangea advice needed

samnsarahNovember 29, 2012

I am in South-central Kansas where the summers are usually hot and dry, especially recently, and drought is common during the summer and winter.
Will Blue Shadow Witch Alder grow alright on the north side of my house where it would only get 1-2 hours of direct sunlight a day?
Will Oakleaf Hydrangea grow alright under these conditions?
Please let me know. Thanks

If they will recieve adequete mostiure, they are two fine choices that will compliment each other. You won't get stellar fall color that these two plants are known to have though.
