what to do......

rbiggMarch 20, 2011

I was doing some outside cutting the other day. I have a Black & Decker model 7517 2spd jig saw (goodie but oldie).

Eeekkkkk: I'm finding I can't buy blades for it at Lowes or Home Depot.

What do you do?

My blades are U-13xx.

Is there a work-around for this problem?

They're going to the 'new' style blades. Ask an associate to see if they have some 'old' style blades in the backroom. Otherwise try your Ace Hardware, or other hardware stores. Try to match the blades to another style, don't just count on a certain number. Or buy a new saw, according to hubby the new ones are much better than the old Black and Decker.
