Craftsman String Trimmers

Thinking about buying a refurbished Craftsman 4 cycle string trimmer model 79193. It has a detachable, straight shaft. Is it worth $130?

Wolf: Yes this unit in the straight shaft model is well worth $130.00 in good running order. It comes with electric start option (plug in) but all the units I have checked over usually start with one or two pulls normally . Lots of power for a 29 cc engine , rather quiet also . Normally a $200.00 + Model .

Check, recheck, and check again.
If this 4 cycle is anything like the current yellow "pro" 4 cycle trimmer, stay away.
To keep it simple, i went through 4 in 9 months. They kept giving me a new one. With all the problems, sears was kind enough to just give me a refund.

Mine spit out oil or would burn oil (thus overheat).

At the service center do they have 8 refurbished for sale like mine does?

If u get it and it works out, i have a starter motor that might work with yours 4 sale.
