Need help finding replacement tines for a troy bilt th1002

Ben211May 14, 2012

I have a troy bilt th1002 serial # 282699. I am having trouble finding replacement tines for this tiller. Also wondering if anyone can tell me what year model this tiller is by the information above. I am needing to find a user manual.

I have an 81 horse and it uses the same tines that my poulan pro uses. They have 3 mounting holes in them, so I expect they fit many tillers. I measured tine lgth. and hole centers and ordered online. You will have to order right and left tines as needed, I only replaced the badly worn tines. I found them on several sites but don't remember where I got them. They were a name brand and this is my second year for them and they are holding up well.

If it will help you more I will check them tomorrow for a part #.
