Which is the best backpack Sprayer for a residential thing?

Suzi AKA DesertDanceJune 21, 2010

I have a vineyard in the backyard, and it is getting hit by bugs I never knew existed. So, which one, under $150, will fill the bill? Comfort and light weight is key, but force of spray is mandatory. Which one?

My name is Suzi. JD is fishing, and I am buying this toy for him. Other than that, it's me and the empty windex bottle.

Thanks!

Suzi

Solo makes some nice ones. Others have asked the question on here before, try a search of the archives.

You'll have to decide on manual or powered sprayer. I don't think you'll be able to touch a powered sprayer for under $300.

Birchmeir appears to be a pretty good one too. It is available at Gemplers.

A few weeks ago, I had to have a bee swarm removed from under my shed. The technician had one of these and it has a lot of really nice features including an exterior pump that can be rebuilt easily. His was a 4 gallon model and I do not know if they have other sizes.

Why does this sound like the TV ad for late night phone calls?

I would spend a little more and get an SP SYSTEMS SP1 backpack sprayer.
