what is eating my boxwood
We planted some green velvet boxwood last year and they started out beautifully this spring. But then I noticed that the sides started looking like they were sheared off with a clippers both outside and at times inside. There even is some damage on the tops. I don't see any deer tracks, so don't think it is them, and a while ago saw that something had tried a branch and then left it. I assume that was probably a rabbit. But this is a mystery to me and I definitely want to stop it right away.
Anyone know what animal could be doing this? A woodchuck??
Any ideas are greatly appreciated.
