Quick Question: Bamboo trimmings in compost?

Hi, all! I'm new here, but I hope you can help me. I'm just cooking my first ever batch of home-grown bamboo shoots (fish pole bamboo), and I hate to throw away all the trimmings. Can I compost them? Thanks!

The trimmings may be large-ish so just make them smaller also before putting on your compost bin, depending on how big the bin or pile is.
