Hand drill parts

rockguy(7a)July 8, 2010

I am looking for the 2 internal jaw pieces that go to a hand brace drill. You know the old "brace and bit"-type drill. My good one was stolen, I got one with missing teeth, it's the kind that has 2 notched jaw pieces that go inside the chuck. Email me if you know where I can get them, please or even if you have a complete brace you'll sell or swap. I'm in TN so don't wanna pay postage from Taiwan or somewheres......thanks to all.

Lemme look, I have a couple bit braces in my shop...somewhere. They are all pretty much the same in design. Just curious, why do you use a bit brace, instead of an elctric drill?

Sorry andyma, didn't see your reply. I want to use the brace in an area with no electric service and no generators. I did get a whole brace from ebay, thanks.
