Craftsman Chainsaw

StevenC123August 1, 2013

Good morning. I have an old 18" Craftsman chainsaw that has never failed me until now. Runs great until on it's side and then it quits. We're trying to do some down close to the ground horizontal cleaning of little bits of brush and she quits every time. My Stihl works just fine in the same application but the sucker's too heavy to do a lot with. Any suggestions before I start tearing into the thing?

Thanks,

SteveC

Check the fuel filter and line in the tank, to see they fall into the fuel when you turn the saw.
