power washer pump oil?

bertman_gw(5B West Conn)August 22, 2012

I have heard two different kinds of oil to put in the pumpfrom dealers . Regular 10-30 and another small engine repair place said he sells specific pump oil, with detergents in it. However he told me over the phone he could not spot a viscosity on it.

A pint for 7 bucks?

Does it really matter can I ruin the pump?
