craftsman 18" won't start even with starter fluid

fresh gas and very good spark.sounded like it was barely trying to fire 1 out of 15 pulls.tried starter fluid and no difference.saw ran fine last fall and has never failed to start.

Assuming it's an oil mix saw, it's probably carb related or you made the plug wet with starter fluid. Untreated ethanol fuel can cause rust inside the carb or the priming circuit.

let sit with fresh gas and berryman carb cleaner started up
