Ariens Log Splitter - Opinions?

leeave96(VA)September 26, 2010

I saw an Ariens log splitter at home depot and looks like a pretty decent machine. Subaru engine to boot.

27 and 34 ton machines.

Anyone have any experience with these log splitters?

Thanks!

Bill

Log splitters are pretty basic, an engine, a pump, a control valve, and a cylinder. As long as it was not built overseas with oddball metric components you should be fine. Hydraulic system parts are readily available.
