deadheading homestead verbena

Prettypetals_GA_7-8May 29, 2009

I planted some homestead verbena and was wondering if I am suppose to deadhead it or will it just keep reblooming? I deadheaded some of the old tops that had finished blooming but wasn't sure if I was cutting off the next flush of flowers. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Judy

Yes, if you deadhead each faded flower it will bloom more.
