Chainsaw Husqvarna 40 or 345, what's the difference??

burdieSeptember 6, 2010

I can buy a second-hand husqvarna chainsaw in a auction. I can buy the Husqvarna (Husky) 40 and 345. The 40 is cheaper. I read the manuals and I can't see a difference. Maybe the power is different and I think the 345 is newer. Is it a good idea to start with chainsaws for 2 trees each year with one of them? What is the difference? Thank you very much for answering!!!

The 345 is a lot newer and easier to get parts for. If you are only cutting two trees a year why not rent for an afternoon? You won't be dealing with hard starting due to stale gas each time.
