Valve installation

missallpcMay 23, 2013

I am installing a yard sprinkler system. I have Rainbird JTVASV (jar top) valves. The valve is always shown in the horizontal position. Can I install them vertically? The instructions do not specifically warn against this. Thanks in advance. Paul

It's allway's been my understanding that anti-siphon valves need to be in a horizontal position to work properly.
