Impulse sprinkler use

I'm using Gilmour x-large sprinklers to irrigate the yard. Does it matter for the ones I use in full circle if it is long or short stroke? The short stroke seems to be only a little shorter in throw but much better distibution- I have very good head to head coverage if that makes a difference. These heads throw a great distance with good pressure. I have just started to use them on the short stroke and there doesn't seem to be any dry spots. Does it even matter? Thanks

Nope. If the coverage is good the shorter stroke give better watering closer to the head. Aloha

Thanks, that is what it seemed to me, just confirming.
