Greenspire VS. Glenleven Linden

treetoronto3April 18, 2014

Hello, Can someone tell me which one is which.

Which one is the one with a central leader and very pyramidal?

Which one is the one with multiple leaders, with a very round shape?

We have tons of these planted around my area, but I am wondering which one has more of a pyramidal shape. Googling and researching has brought up nothing.

Young trees of Greenspire and Glenleven are often similar in shape (pyramidal), but as they mature Glenleven tends to be more "upright" than Greenspire. Both can develop multiple leaders if not trained when young.
