Seed Identification

chewster(5)September 10, 2006

Hello Everyone,

I was hoping that someone would know of a good website to identify seeds. Twice I have traded for Echinacea seeds and both times I have received chaff, the brown spines.

I am trying very hard not to be dissapointed but when you think you have found a sought after seed only to find out that you have not, it can be a bit discouraging.

I would like to find a seed site to help everyone including myself identify seeds so that we all can become more familiar with our passions.

I enjoy the forums on the gardenweb very much and I have learned tons of new information on many different subjects. I hope that my post is read as searching for a helping tool and not a complaint.

Thank you pitimpinai I will check that out. I was sent an awesome picture of echinacea that I would love to share but I have not figured out how to post photos yet. Don't give up on me I am getting old and slow but I am still very determined.
