jd 265 lawn tractor

dragonsdaddyJune 20, 2011

my 265 lost the spring assoc with the transmission/brake. i replaced it, but now the starter won't turn over. i assume something with the brake switch is not cooperating. everything looks right, but no power.

Your assumption sounds feasible. JD parts shows a little 2 pole? NC switch labeled as a neutral start switch. Just have to get into it.
