...that Coreopsis lanceolata was evergreen to semi-evergreen thru the winter! I've been wondering why my clump was still so green and turgid after several frosts and a few hard freezes. I just got done with a google search and sure enough it's evergreen status was confirmed :D

Nothing prettier than seeing 'green' in the blah days of winter.

Wow, I did not know that either, and will have to make a point of enjoying the greeness throughout the winter.
