Any Pentas Out there?

mmqchdygg(Z5NH)January 19, 2009

I keep coming back to this one every time I see it in a catalog, but didn't have any luck WSing it. Has anyone? I keep reading how the hummers love it.

I think you will get more response if you post this on the discussion forum.

The penta I brought inside for the winter had blossoms on it. Tried to collect seed but am not sure if there are any. Will try ws what I got in April.

Every year I buy at least one or two pentas. They do not winter over well for me. Are water hogs and whitefly magnets.

Don't remember that hummers were drawn to them but I have many, many plants for hummers and have lots of hummer activity in my gardens.
