My willow tree is sick.

Desirai(7B)May 6, 2014

A few years ago my dad gave me a cutting off of a willow tree. It rooted, and now it is almost 10 feet tall!!!! :)

This year I noticed that only one side of it was blooming green buds, and today I was horrified to notice that all of the leaves on it have turned to brown crisp and fallen off!!!! :(

I dumped a few buckets of water onto it....

Is it thirsty?? I really don't want it to die!!

not much to go on here ... all i can surmise.. is that its half dead ... give it time and see what it does ...

for sure.. i would cut a few 6 to 8 inch cuttings.... and root them in a pot .. and rot them.. just in case this one dies ...
