anybody got Yvonne's salvia seeds to share or trade?

ellenrr(7a)January 25, 2014

Yvonne developed taller than usual red salvia plants. I heard some got as high as 5 feet, mine didn't get that high, but they were beautiful.
then I lost my plot.
She sent them to people all over the country, who in turn passed them on. She died a few years ago.

Ellenrr, you mind if I ask too. I would also like some for a trade.

It is possible to do a search of members' seed lists to find those who have Yvonne's Salvia available. Go to the bottom of the page and you'll find directions to Member Pages or something similar. You can also post on the seed trading forum and ask for someone looking to trade. Good luck.

Ellenrr,

I do not have any of Yvonne's, but-

If you want to add more red to your collection of Salvias, I have 'Lady in Red' and a tall red Salvia splendens without a cultivar name. But the info I have on that one is that it grows 1-3ft tall.

Just give me a holler if you would like them.
