Silver Dollar Tree?

amytayJune 2, 2014

Is this a silver dollar tree? We live in western Washington state but this tree doesn't look like any tree I've ever seen. It was planted by the previous home owners and I don't know what to expect from the tree - how tall will it grow? What does it look like year round? How can I take care of it?

Thank you so much for any help!

Compare with Cercidiphyllum japonicum f. pendulum.

I do believe that's a good possibility. I top grafted one myself and it's sitting up on the gravel now awaiting planting. It is quite striking. IOW weeping Katsura.
