lift point on John Deere LT-155
I have a John Deere LT-155 garden tractor. Periodically I use a jack to lift the front of the tractor. Currently I am lifting the tractor by placing the jack under the fitting for the rod that holds the front of the mower to the tractor. It is in the middle of the front axel.
Each time I do it I question my practice. Is there a known reason for not using this fitting as a lifting point?
Is there a better point to lift the front end?
