..the best I have so far
What a great picture of this rose. Mine turn out awful.
Oh,sorry to hear that.try growing it in a pot
Very nice blooms, I love your Tournament of Roses.
iris_gal, You saying your camera does not take a good pic of that rose?
If so I have issues with my one camera not taking clear pics of certain colors. I had to get another camera...lol
Your blooms look great tigerloveroses! Very nice photo!
That was an excellent rose here. Mine got crown gall so I dug it out, but while it was healthy it was a gem.
This is one tough rose in my garden and climate. My plant was deer pruned and poorly watered for over a decade because the previous owners of my home were in their 90s when I bought the house. When I finally got the deer fencing right and did some rejuvenation pruning, the rose rebounded and is an incredibly healthy plant.
For me, this is one HT that doesn't require any TLC, just normal rose care and it will survive even if it doesn't get good care.
The blooms don't fry quickly in triple digit temps. It has been disease free in this no spray garden.
The bonus for me, is that it is very fragrant.
Also, for an hybrid tea,it has clusters of blooms...I'm a novice rose grower, and many of the roses I bought are so finicky! But this one si outstanding.event the jappenease beetle hordes stay away from it!
I hear you Jim. One worthy pic with the old 3mp Olympic.
