White Perennial Idenitification...Help!

supernnylSeptember 20, 2011

I bought this plant last year and can't remember what it is called. It is a perennial. Any ideas?

It looks like a white Salvia pratensis to me. Swan Lake strain?

hi there,
quite sure a Salvia, perhaps a well fed S. nemorosa. The uploaded photos didn't work, perhaps you could fix that. Probably one could find instructions searching the perennial forum.

The picture isn't real clear, but could it be a white physotegia? Mine is sprawled like this one. Mary

No, it can't be a physostegia, because it has flowers like salvia pratensis. Flowers on physostegia don't look like salvia pratensis.

This is the plant in question:

This is Physostegia virginiana :

This is Salvia pratensis:

They are too different to be confused in my opinion.
