Tree loss leaves and foams

clord99999July 19, 2014

I noticed one of the trees we have start to loss its leaves already. A day later there was spots where white foam was seeping out. Then I started to investigate and the bark is cracked on one branch, and there are fractures. It has foamed in two other areas and all the leaves are now gone.

I think it might be slime flux, but I have no idea. Can someone tell me what it might be? If the tree is salvageable?

With just the bark to go by, it looks like a Chinaberry. If so, no great loss. Highly invasive weed tree...

Here is the whole tee. I am not sure what kind it is, we bought the house less then a year ago. The owner before the last planted a lot of trees. Had in-laws gardener come out and clean up all the trees, so the stub was probably from him trimming it.
