Sugar Moon, Randy Scott, Snuffy - any info

kentucky_rose zone 6October 19, 2010

I'm interested in Sugar Moon, Randy Scott, and Snuffy. Does anyone have any info regarding these varieties, e.g. BS, prolific bloomer, stingy, waterspots, thrips love, hard to get established, blooms last? Thanks in advance

I grow Snuffy on its own roots, from a cutting directly from the hybridizer. The flowers are lovely and they last completely forever in a vase.

Randy Scott is one of the best exhibition-style whites I have seen. The bush is vigorous and it produces lots of lovely flowers. This rose was queen of the Colonial District show last year, if I recall correctly. It's tough to do that with a white rose.

You can get these roses budded on multiflora directly from John Smith (the hybridizer). I can't find his info right now ... PM me and I'll get you in touch with him.
