Help w/ Tree ID

msfrikinsunshineAugust 3, 2013

Can anyone identify this tree for me (see image - it's just of one of the branches)? I'm located in the Southern Tier of NY... everyone always asks me what it is and I have no idea... When the wind blows the leaves flutter, it's very pretty, almost reminds me of silver dollars. No fruit or flowers on it that I have seen. It looks to be around 20-25 feet tall and appears to be mature. Hope someone can help! Thanks!
