We have had this tree for years and it so happened to be a little sapling we got from my grandmother, but we have no idea what it is. I have always loved it and was curious what its called.
Could be goldenrain tree, Koelreuteria paniculata.
Hmm...they do look similar, but the seed pods are different then those. Here is another photo of what the seeds look like.
They are small, about the size of a black olive. They are large bunches of anywhere between 10 to 30 seed pods. Like mentioned, they are invasive, anywhere a pod drops, pretty much a seedling will sprout there (which I don't mind, I have 6 seedlings growing right now).

Chinaberry (Melia azedarach)
Invasive and poisonous!
Here is a link that might be useful: Chinaberry
Thanks jfacendola, that's exactly what it is, I would have never thought. Thank you so much for putting that question to rest.
We have known how invasive it is, we have had it for 7+ years and we are either finding suckers or like this year, seedlings everywhere. I do love the tree though, we simply pick up the pods as they fall and throw them away. Its a first hearing how toxic the fruits are, which is a good thing. Now I know how to treat the fruits when they fall.
Thank you so much again!
