Generation 4? or more?

pixie_louJuly 21, 2013

I received "Petite Yellow" and "Petite Orange" marigold seeds from the newbie seed project 3 years ago. I have continued to save seed every year. This is my 3rd year of marigolds from these seeds. Who know how many generations were produced before someone kindly donated the seeds to the newbie seed project.

This is my favorite marigold from the bunch.

Very nice. I have a new favorite marigold, too. It's called crackerjack and is from 3 for $1 packs from the dollar store. It's got orange and yellow puffy flowers and grows about 3 feet tall, which makes it great for cut flowers. I'll have to remember to save seeds.
