rudbeckia maxima

I have had no luck growing this beauty from seed. I'm going to try again and harvested a ton from my purchased plant.

Anyone else have germination issues with this rudbeckia?

I got it going, and still have it growing (can be tricky here to find the right spot). I have troubles germinating EVERYTHING these days, even with a few cold winters. I have no idea what is up? However, I'm thinking of trying a few items in the freezer a week or two before putting them out at WS time. Just a few things I have particular troubles with...
